About
Welcome to my website. I’m so happy to share my artwork with you. I have been working as a textile designer and children’s illustrator for over two decades. My portfolio reflects my love of color and pattern. I’ve been so fortunate to have had the great privilege to design and illustrate products for a variety of clients globally including children’s books and periodicals, children’s apparel, toys, wall décor, fabrics, greeting cards and stationery and more. There is no better feeling than watching a young child enjoy something you’ve created.
My illustrated children’s books have been generously received and recently juried into the Society of Illustrator’s Original Art Show multiple times. “Why is the Sky Blue?” was chosen to be paired with an Eric Carle title for Booktrust.org’s book bag program. Over 700,000 book bags were distributed to first year students throughout the UK.
Some very generous words used to describe my work : “glimmering”, “lavish”, “handsome”, “vibrant”, “gorgeous”, “magical”, “lush”, “amazing”, “breathtaking”, “beautiful”, “gloriously colorful”, “dreamlike”, “luminous”, “dynamic”, “engaging’, “pleasing”, “skillful”, “alluring” and a “celebration of observation”.
Thanks for stopping by.
